Victoria Tane’s upcycled and vintage jewelry will be on the green runway tomorrow evening in the Chicago at the Vert Couture eco-fashion show in Millennium Park.
The show features eco-collections from several talented designers from the Chicago area. Hosted by Conscious Living TV, a VIP cocktail reception starts at 6:00pm followed by the runway show at 7:30pm. The Vert Couture show is the first eco-conscious show to present during Fashion Focus Chicago.
Victoria Tane’s eco jewelry collection evokes a classic vintage look seamlessly interwoven with the freshness of upcycled elements. Elements highlighted include antique crystals from the lighting industry, vintage pencil ferrules and upcycled frosting applicator tips. The necklace pictured above uses upcycled homeycomb blind ends and resin pearls in an Elizabethan style ruff collar necklace .
A portion of Vert Couture’s proceeds will benefit Keep Chicago Beautiful, an environmental nonprofit that offers governmental, corporate and community education programs to help beautify Chicago.
Victoria Tane Studios is excited to be included in this progressive fashion event as eco haute couture pushes the boundaries and continues to gain prominence in the fashion industry.
